Last night we went to A.O.C.. If you like sampling many small, tasty plates, then A.O.C. is for you.
Zagat says A.O.C. is a “foodie heaven” with “innovative”, “inventive” and straight-up “incredible” Cal-French small plates – matched by a “jawdropping selection” of wines by the glass.
I think our favorites were the “clams with artichokes, vermouth and orach,” a summer fruit salad with arugula and toasted almonds, “morels (mushroom), ricotta gnocchi and amontillado cream,” and “12-hour pork belly, mojo criollo and avocado.”
Some gohan with the pork belly would have been nice, though.
Reservations highly recommended.
