Gut-Check Time

The Dodgers are 1-7 since the All-Star break, losing their last two games to the lowly San Diego Padres (17 games out of 1st place, but they always play the Dodgers well). Their only win was thanks to Kaz Ishii, who stopped the Arizona D-Backs from sweeping the Dodgers. However, it’s only July 19, and the Dodgers — in spite of their recent struggles — are still only 1 games out of 1st place.

Champions rise to the occasion when down. The Dodgers will get their chance in this weekend’s 3-game series vs. the San Francisco Giants, who are only game behind the Dodgers.

Tonight’s Dodger Pitcher? Kaz Ishii.
