90 inches in April

Mammoth Mountain’s web site claims that 90 inches of snow fell in April, making it the #1 April on record. That’s 7-1/2 feet for you right-brained folks.Current conditions: fresh/packed powder with a base depth of 6 to 8 feet. Today’s daytime temps were in the mid 20s. Sounds a lot more like winter, not spring.

“Value season” (starting today) lift ticket prices: $48 vs. $60 regular season. Bring your VISA card.
