Cheeseburgers and Wi-Fi

I figured at some point I’d use the Wi-Fi capability in this Toshiba M100 notebook, but not like this.I’s 8:30pm now and I’m sitting in the passenger seat of Sue’s Highlander outside the Abbey Load coffee shop in Mammoth (near the Rite Aid store). With the car window open, I’m able to grab a pretty strong signal (the coffee shop is closed). I had a hunch this might work — sure beats paying $7 an hour to use one of their Internet PCs.

The good thing is I haven’t got any weird stares yet from the people going to the video rental shop next door…

This is a nice way to digest that bacon cheeseburger and fries I had at Bergers. I guess I could’ve done without that beer, but what the heck, I’m on vacation!
