UPDATE: Dale’s marrow transplant was completed – read more here.
If you took the worst problem in your life right now and multiplied that by a factor of one thousand, you would probably still find that it looks very tiny compared to the magnitude of the challenge facing Dale Inouye, 8 years young.
So please take some time out of your busy life to help Dale.
You see, Dale has leukemia and urgently needs a bone marrow transplant. His life depends on it.
Earlier today Linda asked me to add Dale’s story to my blog, which I was more than happy to do. From his poster:
This is Dale. He is in serious condition and needs your help NOW. Dale has leukemia and urgently needs a bone marrow transplant. He’s got all the optimism and spirit he needs, but there’s one important missing person: YOU.
Dale’s future depends on you, a marrow match that may only be found in his ethnic community.
Dale attends Sunday School at Faith Methodist Church in Torrance, plays F.O.R. basketball and golf, Sansei League baseball, and is a spirited student of Halau Keali’i Nalani in Los Angeles. He receives treatment at Long Beach Memorial Hospital, and is a charming and witty 8-year old with a wonderful sense of maturity and humor. To know him, is to love him.
Please, help save Dale and give him a second chance to live — all it takes is a swab in your cheek — NO BLOOD. Register at a bone marrow drive and become a donor TODAY!
Here’s how you can help.
Go to a bone marrow drive, being held this Sunday and next, starting 9:30AM at:
FAITH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
2115 W. 182nd Street.
Torrance, CA 90504
For more information, including other bone marrow drives, visit www.asianmarrow.org or call:

Please help, and say a prayer for Dale and his family.
